Located in the northeast section of Clovis, Buchanan High is one of the most sought after high schools in Fresno County. In 2009, Buchanan was awarded the prestigious California State Distinguished School Award. Of it's 686 graduates in 2008, 93% went on to college or some form of technical school, including Harvard, Stanford, the University of California and the California State University systems to name a few.
